Passivhaus Futures: Call for ideas
What do you think are possible future directions for Passivhaus? Passivhaus with healthy materials or low embodied carbon? 3D printed Passivhaus buildings? If you have a case study or research project and would like the chance to present it in front of your Passivhaus peers, in one of 6 slots available at the 2017 UK Passivhaus Conference, we would like to hear from you. Send us a summary paragraph (maximum 300 words) of your project or topic.
The project should be Passivhaus orientated or applicable to Passivhaus buildings; any research should be based on a reliable data set with quantified data rather than anecdotes. We’re particularly keen to find any evidence that people have about health benefits of low-energy buildings that could also apply to Passivhaus projects.
Possible topics include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Embodied carbon
- Building biology
- Healthy buildings
- Quantified health benefits
- Nearly Passivhaus
- Custom build or prefab
- Bespoke projects
- Skyscraper projects
- Innovative financing models
- New technologies
- Whole life costs
Enter your summary paragraph for consideration via email to yogini@passivhaustrust.org.uk with the subject Passivhaus Futures.
Submission deadline: 31st May 2017
Submissions will be shortlisted shortly after, and the conference organizing committee will select topics for full presentations in early June, leaving plenty of time to prepare the presentation before October!
