Adam Clark
Founding Director, Halliday Clark Architects
Adam trained at both the Birmingham and University of Sheffield Schools of Architecture qualifying
as a Chartered Architect in 1987. After becoming a Director of the John Brunton Partnership in 1990, Adam formed Halliday Clark Architects in 1993 in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
Having developed a keen interest in low energy housing, Adam was appointed a Non-Executive Director of the Ecology Building Society in 2011 and has subsequently designed a series of Passivhaus new build and Enerphit houses, including the world’s first straw bale Passivhaus Plus dwelling in Leyburn, North Yorkshire.
Adam’s projects have won numerous awards and have featured on Channel 4’s ‘Grand Designs, Channel 5’s ‘I am Britain’s Favourite Home’ and BBC1’s ‘Countryfile Diaries’.
