Chris leads the Oxford sustainability team at QODA. He is responsible for a team of modelling engineers providing energy, thermal, and daylight simulations for buildings, as well as looking at advanced modelling techniques and sustainable design practices. He is passionate about making buildings healthy, comfortable, and genuinely low energy through use of passive design and simple servicing strategies.
Chris has over 10 years’ experience in mechanical services design, building simulation, and low energy building design, for a wide variety of different types of building. He is a certified Passivhaus consultant and played a key part in delivering Oxford University’s first Passivhaus.
