Edward Lowes has been working as a research associate at the Passivhaus Institut since 2016 as a member of the component certification department, with a focus on building envelope products (construction systems, windows and façades). He is a graduate of the University of Liverpool School of Architecture in the UK. Edward became familiar with the Passivhaus standard while working as a sustainability consultant in London and is particularly interested in the low energy refurbishment of existing building envelopes.
