Iain Stewart qualified in architecture out of Queens University Belfast in 1981 to work for the Robinson Patterson Partnership for 17 years. His early work was in social housing including an RIBA Regional award-winning inner-city housing in Lancaster Street, Belfast. After middle years in diverse building types he has returned to housing in the private housebuilding sector including master planning, one-offs and medium infills. Coming full circle, the current case study development is named Lancaster Park. He was one of a group to pass through the first passive house designer course run by MosArt in Northern Ireland during 2010. He is a founding director of Formative Architects Ltd.
