John Lefever

Over the last 25 years John has worked in both private and public housing, lectured at Anglia Ruskin University, his team has delivered the largest RSL programme of Ground Source heat pumps in UK, a code level 5 scheme over 500 code level 4 homes and a straw bale scheme, plus 3 certified Passivhaus schemes a further 3 Passivhaus schemes on site making a total of 62 homes and two more schemes in the planning process.

John has been a County, District and Town Councillor of a small market Town, a trustee of Almshouses and local charity, recipient of “Fit for Work award” and founder of a local Mencap Charity; WILLUM House.  .

John Manages a team of experts who cover the Eastern Region delivering a programme of new houses, including houses on exception to policy sites using Eco friendly building methods, plus section 106 housing schemes. Over the last 5 years the team delivered over 1000 new homes.

Hastoe won the “Sustainable Developer of the year” by What house magazine beating all national house builders, two of the teams schemes have won the Passivhaus trusts design award plus LADC & CIH sustainable awards.
