Ralf Bermich
Ralf Bermich, born in 1962, studied Physics at the University of Hamburg, focussing on applied physics, biophysics and energy. After his studies he worked in the Institute for Solar Energy Research Hannover/Hameln, on the topic of photovoltaik system technology and coordinated the research group Autonomous PV Systems.
Since 1993 he is responsible for the ambitious climate protection programme and the municipal energy management of the City of Heidelberg. He is convinced that the energy turnover from fossile to renewable energy sources can be realised by parallel forced development of energy efficiency and renewables. His passion is going ahead towards new technologies and building lighthouses of intelligent implementations.
