Thomas has a Doctorate in Architectural Engineering from TUDelft and over twenty years of specialised experience in structural and façade engineering across a range of buildings and infrastructure projects worldwide. His previous roles include Global Facade Leader at Mott MacDonald Ltd, Technical Director at Waagner-Biro Stahlbau AG and Technical Director at Seele Austria GmbH.
Thomas founded Henriksen Studio Ltd in 2019 with a desire to lead a company creating beautiful and progressive buildings that would meet today’s demand for a sustainable future. Henriksen Studio’s current projects include Passivhaus design and façade advisory roles for Urbanest’s two upcoming developments 2 Trafalgar Way and Battersea Palmerston Court, as well as façade specialists and procurement advisors on a number of projects for Buckingham Group Ltd including Swansea Arena, Fulham Football Club and Lee Valley Ice Centre.
