Andrew Goodman
Principal, Good Architecture
Formed originally as Andrew Goodman Architecture, the practice name was changed in 2008 after PHPP training, with the intention of concentrating on low energy, environment conscious building design. Andrew has subsequently completed both Passivhaus Designer and AECB CarbonLite Retrofit training.
Projects predominantly fall into self-build or community-led new build or retrofit categories. Good Architecture’s UK Passivhaus Competition 2012 runner-up scheme focussed on low impact construction within a diverse, productive landscape. Andrew collaborates with other Passivhaus designers as a Director of 15-40 Architecture to radically reduce the energy consumption of buildings through a ‘fabric first’ approach.
